Nineteen years ago, Rod and I were blessed with the most precious gift, our beautiful daughter Annie, completing our forever family, and we committed to giving back with gratitude for our amazing gift. This is where our story began... For a decade, Rod and I garnered vast support from the Minnesota sports and media community to come together each summer, raising awareness and ensuring adoptive parents could reach the "financial finish line," creating their own forever families

Thanks to the Rod Simons Memorial Golf For the Gift, more than 200 adopted children have come home to their forever families here in Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, and the Northern Plains region!

In 2017, Rod was honored posthumously with the prestigious Angels in Adoption Award by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (Washington, DC). I know he would insist we've still only scratched the surface... so many more forever families are waiting!
